Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this resort was quite mixed. While the ambiance is lovely and the activities are fun for all ages, the service and room comfort left a lot to be desired. The facilities had their charm, but there were certainly some drawbacks that overshadowed the enjoyable moments. Overall, it was a decent getaway, though not without notable issues.
We had a wonderful time during our stay, enjoying the skiing activities and having fun at Camp Horseshoe for the kids. While the instructors were great, the weather cut our skiing short, and we faced some parking challenges. The food was decent and there were engaging activities for the children, making our family time enjoyable despite a few setbacks.
Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel, especially enjoying the spacious slopeside condos that were newly renovated. The access to a stocked kitchen was a big plus for our family. However, the internet was quite spotty during our stay, which was frustrating. The staff seemed friendly, but the facility felt underspaced at times, impacting service quality. The ski hills were decent, though they might not measure up to some more famous resorts.
I had a mixed experience at this resort. While the views from my room were stunning and the restaurant across the street was fantastic, the room itself had a lingering smoke smell that was off-putting. The service was attentive, but I struggled with the noisy air conditioning and found the breakfast to be quite mediocre, leading me to cut my stay short. If you're into winter sports, you might enjoy it here, but I felt the amenities were lacking for families looking for variety.
I had an amazing time at Horseshoe Resort! The hotel was clean and offered great comfort, plus the staff were incredibly helpful. The skiing conditions were fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a family ski trip. However, some facilities could use minor improvements, and while the dining options were decent, there's room for more variety. Overall, it's a great value for money and the location is beautiful!
